Dr. Ghada Atteia

Dr. Ghada Atteia is an experienced Associate Professor at the Information Technology Department, College من Computer and Information Sciences, Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University. She is currently the Chair من Teaching and Learning Quality Department at the College من Computer and Information Sciences and the manager من the Academic Accreditation من the CCIS programs at the PNU. She is a former Chair من the Information Technology program and the Head من ABET Academic Accreditation Committee. During being the program Chair, the IT department has been granted the ABET Accreditation.  Dr. Ghada established the Cybersecurity Bachelor Program within the IT department. She was awarded the Doctor من Philosophy (Ph.D.) in the Interdisciplinary من Electrical and Computer Engineering & Geomatics Engineering from the University من Calgary, Alberta, Canada. She was the recipient من a number من Doctoral Awards from 2012 through 2014, and the L.R. (Dick) Newby Memorial Award from the University من Calgary. She is Microsoft-certified in AI and a certified Training من Trainers (ToT) from the Professional Development Deanship at PNU. She is a certified Academic Quality Practitioner by the Education and Training Evaluation Commission at Saudi Arabia. Her research interests include Artificial Intelligence for remote sensing, healthcare and renewable energy applications, machine and deep learning, image processing, Synthetic Aperture Radar, and Satellite polarimetry.
